The Innovation World Cup® organizes the Startup Competition on the 20th and 21st of June 2023 in the framework of the 12th edition of IoT Week international conference in Berlin.
We invite startups, scaleups and techpreneurs worldwide to submit their solutions, including a wide range of sensor-based devices, wearables, and applications, and advance the Industry 4.0 | Energy | Mobility | Agriculture | Security | Home | Healthcare | Sports & Lifestyle sectors.
Finalist pitches with live jury evaluation will take place on two days:
The Innovation World Cup is the world’s largest international competition for IoT startups and scaleups. The open innovation platform connects ground-breaking techpreneurs and leading industry partners to form powerful alliances and create a better world through technology innovation.

1. IoTWeek Innovation World Cup Opening: How to grow and scale up an IoT business – Do’s and don’ts for IoT techpreneurs from 10:45 – 12:00, 20 June
This session is the grand opening of the 2nd IoTWeek Innovation World Cup. IoT experts of multinational tech corporates and investors will discuss the essential do´s and don’ts for IoT techpreneurs when scaling up an IoT business. The session will also show how corporates and startups can successfully work together in their constant chase for innovation.

2. IoTWeek Innovation World Cup Startup Pitch Session I (Industry 4.0, Energy, Home, Mobility, Agriculture, Security) from 14:00 – 15:15, 20 June
The Internet of Things enables interconnectivity as never before, with machines and equipment take autonomous actions based on real-time data. The Industry 4.0 resorts to IoT technologies that make not only smart factories and warehouses real, but also provide valuable data for precise decision-making. The Startup Pitch Session I powered by IoTWeek and Innovation World Cup® will introduce ground-breaking start-ups and solutions advancing the Industry 4.0, Energy, Mobility, Agriculture, and Security sectors. Each start-up will have 5 minutes for presentation plus Q+A, ranging from condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, new energy solutions, green tech, sustainability, and agriculture. New connectivity solutions are also welcome to this session.
3. IoTWeek Innovation World Cup Startup Pitch Session II (Home, Healthcare, Lifestyle & Sports) from 10:45 – 12:00, 21 June
The Startup Pitch Session II powered by IoT Week and Innovation World Cup® will focus on future healthcare, lifestyle, and sports solutions. Each start-up will have 5 minutes to present their solutions live on stage, plus Q+A. The top-rated pitches from session I and II will be announced during IoT Week main session on 21 June.
