The 6th edition of IoT Week was held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Belgrade from May 31st to June 2nd.
IoT Week once again created an exciting, dynamic, fun and educational IoT environment with a program focused on IoT Large Scale Pilot deployment wrapped up in Research, Industry and Innovation days.
Smart cities, smart agriculture, IoT in retail, smart manufacturing, privacy protection in the IoT world, factories of the future – those were just some of the topics that were discussed this year in Belgrade.
The organizers, IoT Forum and the local host company – DunavNET, hosted about 400 participants and 130 speakers.
Ecosystems is really the name of the game as far as the Internet of Things is concerned because you can not operate in silos anymore. When you think about Internet of Things it’s about connecting objects, but it’s also about delivering new solutions and there is no one single company that can cover the full value chain, from the chip to the device to the platform, to the cloud, to the data, to the applications, to the users.
