IoT Week is an annual event organized by the IoT Forum since 2011. The IoT Week conference gathers industry and academia representatives from around the world. So far editions of the IoT Week were held, respectively, in Barcelona, Venice, Helsinki, London, Lisbon, Belgrade, Geneva, Bilbao, Aarhus and Dublin.
The last edition attracted about 1600 participants specialized in the IoT domain, including research centres, research projects, large industries, SMEs, developers, standards development organizations and policymakers, including the European Commission.

Dr. Sébastien Ziegler is a founder and the Director general of Mandat International, a foundation promoting international cooperation and international research.
Dr. Srđan Krčo is a co-founder and CEO of DunavNET, a company designing turnkey IOT solutions for smart cities, agriculture and manufacturing. He has over 20 years of experience, working with large multinational companies and international collaborative research and innovation projects.
He coordinated a large H2020 project TagItSmart, creating IoT enablers facilitating improvement and transparency in the food supply chain and more general in the FMCG domain. Srdjan is one of the founding members of the International IoT Forum and is actively participating in IoT-EPI (IoT European Platforms Initiative) and AIOTI (Alliance for IoT Innovation) activities. In 2007, Srdjan won the Innovation Engineer of the Year award in Ireland. He has published over 15 patents and more than 70 papers at international conferences and journals. Srdjan holds Associate Professor position at FEFA (Faculty for Economy and Financial Administration) where he works with students on business aspects of IoT and digital transformation. He is a frequent speaker at international events addressing IoT and its applications. Srdjan is a Senior IEEE member and has MVP (most valuable professional) status for IoT activities awarded by Microsoft.
Dr. Latif Ladid is a Senior Researcher at the SECAN-Lab at the University of Luxembourg
Dr. Antonio Skarmeta, Spain. He is CTO of OdinS. He has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Murcia.
He has coordinated several projects at national and international level. In the security and IoT area he is involved in the European projects ARMOUR, CPaaS, ANASTACIA. He has designed and deployed research solutions for control systems for remote monitoring and has implemented a control room based system based on sensor integration as part of transfer technology solutions, having a couple of patents in the area of building automation and remote monitoring systems.
